ABOUT WCJE
The World Center for Jewish Education (WCJE) was founded with the goal of strengthening Jewish education in schools and institutions around the world, by applying professional educational tools and building an appreciation for Jewish identity and Jewish values.
WCJE is staffed by a dedicated faculty of professional educators with over 45 years of collective experience in enhancing and strengthening Jewish education, both in a formal educational surrounding and through educational trips to Israel. The WCJE offers assistance and support to educators, school administrators, students and private groups seeking educational materials.
As an educational resource hub, the WCJE works in close cooperation with dozens of educational and cultural organizations that specialize in developing syllabuses and designing programs on Judaism-related topics. Our partners include The Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Academon Books (Magnes), the Center for Educational Technology (CET), TALI Schools, the Jewish Agency, Partnership 2Gether, and many others. We have an extensive catalog of Jewish and Hebrew textbooks and programs in our Israel Connection Bookshop.
International Resource Hub
The WCJE has to date supplied over 150 educational syllabuses on Jewish subjects to hundreds of schools throughout the Diaspora. We maintain regular contact with over 350 elementary schools, and provide products and services to hundreds of other Jewish schools around the world. The WCJE team has also been involved with bringing hundreds of school groups on tours of Israel and Poland. Our educational tourism specialists are committed to creating itineraries that are tailor-made to match each group’s vision, level of observance and perspective.
